Dr. Basile Chartier is a New York–based researcher and consultant with a decade of experience at the crossroads of climate diplomacy, sustainable development, and international economics.
He is the founder of Chart Room and previously led SDG, trade and environmental policy work at the Institute for European Environmental Policy in Brussels.
Alongside academic credentials including a Ph.D. in international economic law (Sorbonne, Max Planck Institute), Basile has built entrepreneurial ventures in sustainable fashion and contributed to leading NGOs on climate and SDGs, from CliMates to Association 4D.
